PRODAC TEST NO3
Water test for measuring nitrates NO3 in fresh and marine water aquarium. The measurement scale of nitrates goes from 0 to 50 mg/l.
Instructions:
1. Rinse the water sample test tube several times with the water to be tested and then fill with sample water to the 5 ml mark.
2. Add a very small amount of the test reagent (powder), just the tip of the spatula and add six drops of the test reagent 2.
3. Mix by repeatedly turning the test tube upside down, test development takes 3 to 5 minutes.
4. Match the colour of the sample with the colour chart by positioning the test tube next the most similar colour. For accurate readings compare the colours from above.
CAUTION: do not use an excessive quantity of reagent 1 as it could alter the reaction and test results. If the quantity of nitrates in the water exceeds 25 mg/l, it is utmost importance to chenge a small amount of the water and to use a specific product such as PRODAC's AMMONIA CONTROL. Thoroughly clean the test tube after use, securely seal all reagent containers and store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Keep the product out of reach of children.
